About Us

 
SPS was formed based upon a long professional history between its founding partners and our shared vision for bringing quality mental health services to our patients. Drs. Colognori, Happich and Rockmore first met while working at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University. We enjoyed our work together and planned for many years to open our own group practice, modeling it after our shared values of what it means to provide effective and compassionate mental health services. We believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to creating an atmosphere conducive to meaningful change. The foundation of our work is the commitment to meeting the individual needs of our patients and helping them work toward their identified goals.
